Owner/Mental Health TherapistI have a Master's degree in marriage and family counseling/therapy and am licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. I work with clients located in Alabama and Florida. I enjoy working with adults, couples, and families struggling with systemic issues such as substance use, body image, family issues, relationships, and life transitions. I specialize in treatment of anxiety and depression, and trauma. I am able to help you navigate grief/loss, pregnancy and infant loss, substance use, gender identity issues, eating disorders, and traumatic stress.

Under the supervision of Patrice Holloway Thomas, LPC-SHi I am Kimberly Larkin, ALC and I am dedicated to supporting marginalized communities in navigating anxiety and depression through a compassionate, person-centered approach. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals can explore their experiences and build resilience. I integrate evidence-based strategies such as DBT and CBT to foster emotional regulation and thought restructuring. I also work with couples to improve communication, strengthen connections, and resolve conflict. My goal is to empower clients to cultivate self-awareness, achieve personal growth, and lead fulfilling lives.
