Who do you service?

The Heal Center Counseling, LLC supports healing for every person; however, we primarily work with adults ages 19+ for individual and couple’s therapy. Anyone needing help healing from trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, addiction, boundaries, communication, personal growth, family conflict, grief/loss, disordered eating/body image issues, gender identity, and self-esteem.

What forms of payment are accepted?

The Heal Center Counseling, LLC currently accepts Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, and Magellan insurance plans. Private pay options are also available with limited sliding scale spots. Copays and fees are due at the time of session and may be paid using credit, debit, or HSA cards. Insurance benefits are verified prior to your first appointment. You may contact your insurance company directly to verify benefits and copayment amount by contacting the customer service number on the back of your card.

Do you offer in-person or tele-health sessions?

The Heal Center Counseling, LLC offers tele-health sessions via a HIPAA compliant platform and in-office sessions to clients in the states of Alabama and Florida. Sessions will need to be conducted in a safe, quiet environment that allows privacy and confidentiality. Please refrain from driving during these sessions.

What can I expect with treatment?

Sessions last approximately one hour and are recommended on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending upon client need. Treatment will conclude once all treatment plan goals have been met as there is no predetermined length of treatment. Your needs, current symptoms, and history will be discussed during your first session to develop an adequate treatment plan.
